Things are Rocky and Orange

I'm really happy with the way this illustration is moving. But it is very tedious as I work on the Thing.

Here is an up close look at his face.

Shazam! 3

I've made some subtle changes to Captain Marvel.
Here is my current image, and an image of the original Captain Marvel in the 1940's.

Superman's Company (DC comics) Sued the Captain and won. Then later bought Captain Marvel, but lost their right to use his name on the outside of a comic.

Because Marvel Comics had snatched up the Name and trademarked it for their Alien Superhero Captain Marvel.

I have always liked "The Big Red Cheese" as his arch villain Sivana called him. I still have a book from when I was six which collects certain stories from the 40's through the 70's.

Everyone knows His Magic word "Shazam!"
Gomer Pyle said it.
Spiderman (Tobey Maguire in 2002) said it.

Do you know what it means?
Shazam was the Wizard that endowed young, homeless, orphan Billy Batson with the Powers of Captain Marvel, by saying his name.

Sfor the wisdom of Solomon
Hfor the strength of Hercules
Afor the stamina of Atlas
Zfor the power of Zeus
Afor the courage of Achilles
Mfor the speed of Mercury
